Cambridge Standing Tall

Date:21st March - 2 June

A towering sculpture trail for Cambridge in spring 2024
21 March – 2 June
From the 21 March for ten weeks, Cambridge will be playing host to the gentle giants of the African plains, with 31 beautifully decorated giraffe sculptures galloping onto the city’s streets! Alongside them will be over 60 Mini Gs, each created by local schools and community groups.
This towering sculpture trail will bring together communities from all corners of the city, encouraging them to look up at the spectacular art on offer whist supporting Break, a charity working in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire to raise aspirations of the county’s young care leavers.

Delivered by Break, in partnership with Wild in Art and principal partner Cambridge Business Improvement District (BID) with Alan Boswell Group as presenting partner, the Cambridge Standing Tall is expected to attract over 350,000 residents and visitors take part in the trail which is set to deliver some huge economic, social and cultural impact and follows from the ma-hoof-sive success of Cows about Cambridge back in 2021.
