Love Cambridge Christmas Guide
Whilst 2020 has been a challenging year for many, Cambridge is open and the city’s retailers, cafés, hotels, restaurants and attractions have been working incredibly hard to ensure they can safely welcome back residents and visitors to enjoy our fabulous city.
This year, no doubt Christmas will be slightly different for most of us so it is more important than ever to offer support to friends and family and the local businesses that we love and cherish.
Now is a great time to rediscover the treasures that Cambridge has to offer, from Christmas gifts to attractions and experiences – there is so much on offer.
Our gift guides this year will hopefully give you some inspiration of what to buy that special person in your life, and on pages 18 & 19 we highlight just a small selection of the fabulous gifts on offer from our amazing Independent retailers. If popping in store is not an option for you, many of our indies are now online.
On page 24 we look at what we can do in the city this festive period which includes punting, eating out, ghost tours and much more.
And don’t forget to tune in to Star Radio on Sunday 15th November to join in the Big Switch On at Home. More information regarding this event can be found on page 14.
We are offering one lucky reader the chance to win a £250 Love Cambridge Gift Card and a second competition of a meal for 2 at the new Giggling Squid restaurant. Head to page 26 for more information. Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year, please stay safe and enjoy the festive period!
